Action Hope Malawi logoAction Hope Malawi is an organization in Zomba, Malawi. Its mission is to defend and protect vulnerable groups so they can reach their full potential. The Newest Project to Build Malawi

An upcoming project called Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health will be aimed at reducing the instances of early marriage. Child marriage has severe negative consequences to the young girls’ physical health from HIV/AIDS, to a lack of material needs like food and education, to gender inequality. Hence, the project intends to increase the availability, quality, and accessibility of adolescent and youth-friendly health services. It also intends to impact the social and cultural environment by working with adolescents, parents, teachers, health care providers, and community members, to enact lasting political change. Additionally, AHM aims to achieve this goal by mobilizing and informing communities on child marriages, providing care to girls and young women affected by this issue, and cooperating with other organizations to further enact change.

Humanitarian Social Innovations is pleased to sponsor and serve Action Hope Malawi in order to maximize their impact on communities, women, and adolescents in Malawi.
